About

I started blogging about my extended adventures in early 2010. To date, I’ve visited 90 countries, and I dream about getting to at least a few more. When not exploring interesting places at home and abroad, I’m usually raising puppies for Canine Companions, volunteering for Women’s Empowerment International and Friends of Bonobos, gardening, reading, studying other languages, or otherwise engaged. Steve Wolfe has been my constant traveling companion (and inspiration) for more than 50 years.

It looks like we’ve covered a lot of ground. But less than half the world’s total countries…

    Hey Jeannette —

Just found your blog, happy about that. Enjoy your story-telling, and now I have a lot to read. So many countries!

You wrote a story for the SD Reader back in ’01 about the Mission Bay HS class of 1975 (my graduating class). We just celebrated our 50 year reunion in September, and the Reader edition that featured your story was part of the event.

Good luck to you on your travels. Keep writing!

Wow, 50 years! It’s hard to imagine. I remember you and the story well. Thanks for reading the blog!
